From being relaxing and wonderful to perfection

Incredible people, resort and island
We have not been back since 2018 but it felt like coming home. A warm welcome after a long day travelling and we could relax. Maria, George, Albert, Rosa and Vasselli are fantastic. We have had the best and needed two weeks rest and relaxation for this year. We have been wowed by the island and it’s constant treasures. The people are friendly and welcoming. The food and wine marvellous and so varied from fish to meat to sweets to die for.Maria and George are incredibly helpful and will do anything to make your holiday special. We have felt like family whilst we were there and we will not be leaving it 5 years until the next visit. October is a super time and we had fantastic weather, but I think May for the next visit. Can't wait to return.
What a find! If you're looking for a quiet retreat, look no further. The owners, George & Maria are fantastic characters. Oasis
Just returned from a week's stay at Kreta Natur,our first visit to this beautiful island of Crete. This was a last minute getaway and I am very happy we decided to stay here.The apartment was very clean with a beautiful veiw of the sea,there's only 12 apartments in the complex and from the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. George and Maria the owners are truly lovely people and the staff are very friendly.Bill and Albert look after the bar and pool area which is a oasis in its self,Thank-you Bill and Albert for looking after us.The area is quiet but only 10 minutes walk to the front,we found a lovely beach about 25 minutes walk with sunbeds so near the sea it was amazing.Captains restaurant was one of our favourite places to eat and yet again the staff were very hospitable.back to Kreta Natur,I have stayed in 5 star hotels so going to a apartment was out our comfort zone,I enjoyed every single minute staying here and would certainly return,tranquil and beautiful. The most perfect location for a relaxing holiday.
I have never stayed anywhere more pleasant, enjoyable, relaxing, and friendlier than Kreta Natur Apartments. A truly excellent location to enjoy a holiday, there are no negatives at all. There are sufficient sun loungers and seating areas to cater for everyone staying at the apartments providing for a totally stress free experience. Breakfast by the pool each morning made for a perfect start to the day. The bar by the pool serves a great range of drinks and snacks day and evening. Summer Calm
Without doubt the most relaxing two weeks of the year by far. For our needs the apartments are perfect, quite, tranquil and everything you need for 100% chilling. A well stocked bar ice cold wines, beers and Albert's amazing cocktails often delivered on a tray to our sun beds. The staff are all fantastic and always so attentive. My big thanks go out to Geogre and Maria who are now like "part of the family". no matter when. Maria's smile and wave always makes me smile. George is the smartest, calmest and genuine man I know. Amazing week
If you are looking for somewhere truly special look no further. Amazing place and fabulous people. George and Maria and their team were fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool, the bar and the grounds were perfect. Our room was lovely and cleaned daily. Met some amazing guests during our weeks stay. We were after a lazy week to recharge our batteries and this ticked all the boxes. We will definitely be back. Next time we may even venture further than the restaurant at the top of the road! Lovely place, wonderful people.
I have to disagree with the review from the couple who booked via Expedia and had to leave. I have been staying at the same time and know that George rang around to find a new room for them. We have been coming here for 10 years and have never heard George even raise his voice so extremely unlikely that he shouted at anyone to get out. Terrible experience at Kreta Natur. Avoid this hotel!
Women: avoid this place! We had the worst experience here. I booked via Expedia, we (2 professional women in our 40s) arrived at the hotel at around 8:45 pm, George let us into our room, and we unpacked a bit and laid down. Then there was a banging on the door about 45 minute later and when I opened it, George was there and said “this is not your room. get out” and grabbed the keys out of the slot that turns on the electricity so the lights went out and tried to push past me into the room. I was in a small nightgown and said “please, we aren’t dressed give me a minute to put on some clothes.” And he tried to throw us out right then, but all of our clothes were unpacked. I get the keys back to turn on the light and got dressed and went outside to talk with him. He said he doesn’t do business with Expedia and refused to look at my confirmation email. George was extremely rude, yelling at us “get out! Get out!” When I asked him to be kind and try to figure out a solution he said he didn’t need to be polite because we “weren’t his guests.” He said how long will it take you to get out, we said 5 minutes and I think it took less time. We wanted to get out of there asap. We left the key on the table outside the door and called out to him that we were leaving (he was a few feet away at the bar). He chased us down and was like don’t you want to know a hotel with availability, but at that point we were pretty freaked out and just wanted to get away from him. He continued to yell at us and I asked him again to stop being so rude. When we got to the rental car we sat for about 5 minutes trying to find a new hotel at 9:45 pm. He came up to my window and told us to leave the parking lot. It was incredibly strange. We did not feel safe there. In the end, Expedia says they did sent me a cancellation notice, which must have gone to my spam folder because I obviously wouldn’t show up at a hotel that had canceled my reservation. I don’t blame George for his frustration with Expedia, but the way he treated us was beyond awful. To be honest, when I read reviews like this, I wonder if the reviewer is the one who is a little off. But I’ve never written a review like this because I’ve never had an experience this bad at a hotel. I’ve traveled to many countries and stayed in many hotels and am relatively laid back. But I don’t want anyone else to have an experience like this.
